Trimming

Trimen is a dice game that originated in Austria. Originally it was called Three-man, but due to name corruption it has been distorted into Trimen. With Trimen everyone drinks as long as they want or can. The players who can / no longer want to drink are eliminated. The goal is of course to stay seated as long as possible.

Goal : Stay in the game as long as possible
Number of Players : 4-8 players
Requirements : 2 dice, glasses and beer

Rules:
Before the game starts, it is first decided who will be the ‘Trimen’. This is decided by rolling a die. The first player to roll a 3, or a sum of 3, is the ‘Trimen’.

 Ground Rules
The player to the left of the Trimen starts. Then it is played clockwise. It is up to the player who throws what action follows. The basic rules are:

With a single 3, or a sum of 3Trimen drinks
With a sum of 7Person to the left of the Trimen is drinking
With a sum of 9Everyone drinks
With a sum of 11Person to the right of the Trimen is drinking

For example, when a 3 and a 4 is rolled, both the Trimen and the person to his left must take a sip.

One and five / one and four
In addition, there are extra rules to keep everyone on their toes. When a 1 and a 5 is rolled, everyone must place their right index finger on the right nose wing. Whoever does this last must drink.

When a player rolls a 1 and a 4, each player must place their thumb on the edge of the table. Again, whoever is here last has to drink.

Battling
When a player throws doubles, a battle must be played. The player who has thrown the double gets to choose who to battle with. It is first thrown by the player who has thrown the double, then by the challenged. The player who throws the highest number of eyes must drink his number in gulps.

In a battle, everyone can play with one or two dice.

Switching the Trimen
When the Trimen himself rolls a 3 or a sum of 3, he may designate another player as Trimen (except on the first turn). In this way, the role of Trimen changes each time, and the persons to the left and right of the Trimen also change.
